A Terrifying Collapse On The Floor

He Said She Caused the Scene Before She Collapsed

The living room went completely silent as Sarah lay completely still on the oak floor.

Evelyn let out a loud scream and covered her mouth with both hands in shock.

Evelyn: Oh my goodness! Sarah! Someone help her right now!

Mark dropped to his knees immediately beside his motionless wife, ignoring the shattered glass around.

He grabbed her shoulder firmly and shook her gently, his face filled with sudden panic.

Mark: Hey! Wake up, please open your eyes!

Arthur: Don't move her roughly, Mark! Check if she is breathing properly!

Mark leaned his head down close to Sarah's face, breathing desperately in sheer panic.

Her chest was barely moving up and down, and her skin felt icy cold to his touch.

Mark: Sarah, please! Stop playing around! Open your eyes right now!

Evelyn: She isn't playing, Mark! Call nine-one-one immediately!

Arthur rushed over to the hallway telephone desk and dialed the emergency operator rapidly.

Arthur: Yes, operator? We need an ambulance at forty-two Oak Street right away! My daughter-in-law collapsed!

Mark held his head in absolute horror, looking down at his wife's pale face.

Mark: What have I done? No, please!

Evelyn: What did you say to her right before she fell, Mark? Did she hit her head?

Mark: I don't know! She pushed me, and then she just fell straight down!

Arthur: The paramedics are on their way. They said to keep her flat on her back.

Mark's hands were shaking uncontrollably as he wiped sweat away from his own forehead.

He noticed a small black folder sticking out from Sarah's open leather purse nearby.

The label on the top document read: Confirmed Medical History & Heart Condition Report.

Mark pulled the folder out with trembling fingers and flipped the white page open quickly.

His eyes widened in shock as he read the urgent medical diagnosis listed in bold print.

Sarah had been diagnosed with a severe stress-induced heart irregularity over six months ago.

She had kept the life-threatening diagnosis completely hidden from Mark and his entire family.

Mark: Mom... look at this paper. She was sick this whole time.

Evelyn: What are you talking about? What medical papers are those?

Mark: She knew her heart couldn't handle heavy stress or screaming arguments.

The loud sirens of an approaching emergency vehicle echoed from down the suburban street outside.
