The CEO Fired The Housekeeper Until Her Little Girl Spoke Up

The marble floor in the grand entry hall of the executive mansion was cool, but the tension in the room was boiling over.

Clara: YOU PROMISED MOMMY HER MONEY! WHY DID YOU LIE?

The sharp voice of the six-year-old girl echoed off the soaring high ceiling.

She wore braided pigtails and a bright yellow dress, her small finger pointing straight at the man standing near the double oak doors.

David: Sweetheart, what money are you talking about?

David lowered his briefcase onto the polished table, kneeling on one knee with a look of complete confusion.

He reached a hand out toward the little girl, trying to calm her down.

Clara: Don't touch me! You made Mommy cry every single night!

Behind the child stood Elena, her face pale, dressed in a crisp black and white maid uniform.

Her shoulders trembled as she held her daughter softly, tears spilling down her cheeks.

David: Elena, what is going on here? Why is Clara saying these things?

Elena: Sir... I haven't been paid in three months.

David froze, his brow furrowing as he looked up at the weeping housekeeper.

David: Three months? What do you mean? I sign off on the household payroll every two weeks!

Elena: The accounting department said the funds were held... because of poor performance reviews, sir.

David: That's impossible. I never authorized any hold on your paycheck.

Footsteps echoed sharply from the grand white staircase behind them.

An assistant in a sharp suit walked down the steps, holding a black plastic clipboard and a leather folder.

David stood up immediately, his posture stiffening as anger flashed across his face.

David: Harrison, come here! NOW!

Harrison: Yes, Mr. Vance? Is there an issue with the evening schedule?

Clara: HE TOLD MR. HARRISON TO KEEP MOMMY'S MONEY!

David: Harrison, explain to me right now why my housekeeper hasn't seen a single paycheck since June.

Harrison swallowed hard, his eyes flicking nervously toward the child, realizing a massive secret was about to crack open right in front of his employer.
