The CEO Fired The Housekeeper Until Her Little Girl Spoke Up

Elena: I cannot accept this much money, sir. It doesn't feel right.

David: You protected my daughter, you kept my home running, and you endured terrible cruelty because you are a good mother. Take it.

David handed the signed paper to Elena, his eyes full of respect.

Clara: Look, Mommy! Now we can pay the doctor for Grandma's medicine!

Elena: Oh my sweet girl... yes, we can.

Elena wiped away a fresh tear, holding the check with shaking fingers.

David: Furthermore, I am offering you a new contract directly through my personal account, bypassing corporate management entirely.

Elena: A new contract?

David: Double your previous salary, full health insurance coverage for you and Clara, and flexible hours so you can care for your family.

Elena: Mr. Vance... I don't know what to say. Are you sure?

David: I need people in this house whom I can trust with my life. You proved your integrity today, and so did your daughter.

Clara: I was brave like a superhero, right Mr. Vance?

David: You were the bravest person in this entire house, Clara. If you hadn't spoken up, that crook would still be stealing from your mom.

Outside, sirens whined in the distance as two police cruisers pulled up the long circular driveway.

David walked to the window, watching the red and blue lights reflect off the glass paneling.

David: The police are here. I will handle the filing process myself to make sure Harrison faces full criminal prosecution for theft and fraud.

Elena: What will happen to the missing watch?

David: The police will search his belongings. If it isn't in his bag, my security footage will show exactly where he stashed it on the property.

Elena: Thank you for believing us, sir.

David: Thank you for standing up for the truth, even when you were afraid.
