Marcus: "Lily, go to your room and lock the door until I come get you."
Lily nodded silently, running up the stairs while wiping her tears. Marcus turned back to Sarah, his face hardened with a cold determination she had never seen before.
Sarah: "What are you going to do, Marcus? If you go to the authorities, they will arrest me too! They'll charge me with obstruction of justice and conspiracy!"
Marcus: "You made your choice six years ago when you decided to hide a living man behind a wall for a paycheck."
Elderly Man: "Marcus... please... I just want to sit under the sun one last time. I don't care about the money anymore."
Marcus walked over to the old man, taking him gently by the arm and helping him sit down on the plush living room armchair.
Marcus: "You're going to get your justice, sir. And my wife is going to face the consequences of what she helped build."
Sarah: "Marcus, please! Think about our daughter! You'll destroy our home!"
Marcus: "This home was destroyed the moment you built a prison in our living room wall."
Marcus pulled out his own cell phone, dialed 911, and placed the speakerphone on the table for Sarah to hear.
Dispatcher: "Dallas 911, what is your emergency?"
Marcus: "My name is Marcus Vance. I need federal investigators and medical services at my residence immediately. I've just uncovered a hidden bunker in my home containing a missing financial witness... and a massive fraud operation."
Sarah sank into her hands, sobbing uncontrollably as the distant sirens began to echo down the quiet suburban street, finally bringing an end to the dark secret hidden behind the wall.
