Caleb: It's over, old boy. You're free now.
The giant white lion nudged Caleb's hand playfully before turning around and walking calmly toward the open gates of the arena. The crowd stood on their feet, clapping rhythmically as the young man walked side-by-side with the majestic creature toward the center exit.
Chief Judge: Caleb Vance! The high court requests your presence at the executive mansion to sign the official restoration documents!
Caleb: I'll be there shortly, Judge. First, I have a family legacy to rebuild from the ground up.
Guard Captain: Lord Caleb! The guards stand ready to serve the rightful house!
Caleb: Ensure the city's poor are fed today, Captain. No more blood sports, no more fear.
Guard Captain: It shall be done immediately, Sire!
Aurelius was dragged away in chains, screaming curses that were completely drowned out by the roar of the cheering crowd. The heavy shadow that had hung over the city for two decades was finally lifted.
Caleb: We did it, Dad. The truth finally came out into the light.
Caleb looked down at the lion-pendant resting peacefully against his chest. The golden light had dimmed, but the cold metal felt warmer than ever before. He walked out of the arena into the bright sun, ready to claim his rightful place and heal the kingdom his father had built.
Crowd: CALEB! CALEB! CALEB!
Caleb: A new day begins today.
